Rainers pizzeria and beer garden

can be considered as an gastronomic institution in Tbilisi.

15 years ago, the pizzeria was the first European restaurant in Tbilisi, founded by German entrepreneur and journalist Rainer Kaufmann.

European standards in food-quality and service made this restaurant to one of the most popular ones among Georgians and foreigners in the Georgian capital.

After a period, in which the restaurant was leased, it has been completely renovated in spring 2009 and is now again managed by Rainer Kaufmann and his wife Gabi. Both operate a special travel agency for the Caucasus ERKA Reisen in Germany.
